Randee Mia Berman ("Mia") is a Renaissance woman. A writer/performer/on-air commentator and blogger for the Huffington Post, she grew up loving jazz, baroque music and art. She hosts Mia's World, a podcast on Skyes Crescent radio, interviewing jazz musicians and artists. She created a humorous web series, Mia in a Minute; is a tv/radio host, comedienne, actress, baroque recorder musician, artist and graduate of Cornell and Columbia University. Credits include CNN, HBO, ABC News, NPR, Regis, Fox News, Nickelodeon, and gigs at Caroline's and Gotham Comedy Club, where she performed her one-woman show Mia's World and the life of silent film actress/photographer Tina Modotti. A watercolorist and sketch artist, Mia opened her first solo art show, "Mia's Jazz Sketches" at Tavern on Jane, a tribute to her father, a jazz pianist, and jazz clubs and musicians everywhere. Mia also has a unique linguistic skill - talking backwards.
